This Privacy Policy explains what information the CytraX Control service may process and how that information is used when operating the Discord bot, panel, and related tools.
1. Information We Process
The service may process limited Discord and service data, including:
- Discord user IDs
- Discord guild IDs
- Discord channel IDs
- Discord role IDs
- Discord usernames or display names when needed for logs
- verification event records
- audit log records
- pending verification records
- server configuration values
- IP addresses for verification and abuse protection features, when enabled
2. How Information Is Used
Processed information is used to operate the service, including:
- managing verification workflows
- assigning or removing roles
- operating reaction roles
- delivering reminders and logs
- recording settings changes and moderation-related events
- protecting servers from abuse or automated verification attempts
3. VPN and Abuse Checks
If stricter verification options are enabled, the service may submit the connecting IP address to external anti-abuse services such as GetIPIntel or Turnstile-related systems in order to detect suspicious traffic.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell user data. Limited information may be processed by third-party services required to operate the service, including Discord, Cloudflare Turnstile, hosting, and anti-abuse providers.
5. Data Retention
Data may be retained as long as needed to operate the service, maintain logs, troubleshoot server issues, or preserve moderation and audit history. Server operators are responsible for how they use and retain service-generated data in their own environment.
6. Security
Reasonable steps may be taken to protect stored service data, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your Responsibilities
If you operate or manage a server using this service, you are responsible for ensuring your server members are informed as required by your own community rules or local legal obligations.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
